College Fjord: Alaska Cruises
College Fjord is located in the north end of Prince William Sound in the Chugach Mountain range between Anchorage and Valdez Alaska. Access is strictly by boat or aircraft, the vast majority of visitors arrive here by cruise ship bound for Whittier of Seward Alaska.
Well known for the abundance of glaciers lining the sides of this picturesque inlet, College Fjord is one of the only places in Alaska where the views of glaciers frame your views on three sides all at the same time.

Glacier Tours in College Fjord
Visits to College Fjord follow the route of Railroad magnate Edward H. Harriman who led a team of twenty three scientists, including the great naturalist John Muir, on a two month expedition to explore the waters and coastal territory of Alaska. It was during this journey that Harriman and his colleagues first visited College Fjord discovering the greatest density of tidewater glaciers in Alaska.
