Seattle WA Cruises to Alaska
Beginning in early May the port of Seattle jumps to life as the Alaska cruise season officially gets under way. This year nearly 180 ships will depart Seattle bound for the scenic waters of the Inside Passage and the sheltered waters of Southeast Alaska. The course is everything but straight as these ships weave and wind their way through the island strewn waters of the rugged coast off of British Columbia and Alaska. There are nearly as many charted courses as there are ships sailing these waters making each and every voyage special and different than the one that left before them.
